A total of 1580 grafts with 560 micrografts/follicular unit grafts produced the above result. The scalpline design was to be one of moderate recession. The plan was to do multiple sessions but the patient wanted session 1 to be a "stand-alone result" when the result was assisted with grooming. It is not uncommon that patients want to "hedge their bet" by maximizing the chance that they won't have to "pre-commit" to more than one session. This option can often be respected by minimal alterations of the restoration plan. In this case the left side which is the side of the partline was transplanted more heavily to take advantage of the length of each transplanted hair. The result is taken at six months at the time of the second session.
