Our prices are among the most competitive in the country. Competitive prices are partly because of the competitive nature of cosmetic surgery in general in Southern California. But competitive prices also are the result of our business plan which includes modest marketing and sales budgets relative to many of the other transplant centers who utilize satellite sales offices, correspondingly large marketing budgets and, too often, a high volume of transplants at a higher cost per graft.
This table has been revised in April 2007 to redefine costs and to try to make the costs and the relative value easier to understand. Due to differences in your donor density and other issues involving surgical technique, comparisons can be somewhat involved. Please feel free to contact us, preferably with photos, for further clarification. Hopefully, you can get an initial idea of costs for your procedure from this table.

* This assumes 1 follicular unit of 2.2 hairs per squared millimeter of donor tissue and that 1100 follicular unit grafts are are included in the total graft count. The 1000 graft case assumes that all of the grafts are follicular unit grafts. Such may not always be the case. The actual density of hair in the donor area varies easily 20% to both sides of this estimate so please do not assume the above table to be a guarantee of the number of grafts that we can obtain in your situation. We guarantee that we will use the donor completely and plant all of grafts created.
** Since follicular unit grafts made by the most restrictive definition of Follicular Unit Transplantation usually average 1.8 to 2.2 hairs per graft, multiply the "cost per hair" by a number between 1.8 and 2.2 to arrive at a competitive graft price if all of your grafts were follicular unit grafts.
