This gentleman had undergone an unsatisfactory transplant of widely scattered large grafts with a rather low scalpline. He received 1270 grafts with 430 micrografts filling from front to back. Due to the low scalpline of the previous design as little work as possible was done in front of those grafts. It was understood that minimizing coming forward was important, even if it meant further work would be necessary. Photos are taken of before, the pattern the next day and two views at six months.

Example 3

1100 grafts including 490 micrografts/follicular unit grafts produced the following result at five months.

This person wanted refinement of the larger grafts that he had had years earlier. Refinement would consist of bringing the right side of the scalpline more forward to make it more parallel, feathering of the scalpline and obscuring the larger plugs present in the crown. Only so much can be accomplished with one session due to limitations imposed by the amount of hair that can be moved from the donor area. This person had 1100 grafts including 490 micros taken from his donor which was reduced due to the previous scarring from the earlier large grafts. Photos show the crown and the scalpline "before", immediately after and at five months. The perons is happy with the results but is considering doing another session which is in accordance with our original plan in order to take the refinements a step further.
